I was trying to download a free midi sequencer when I was presented with a message offering a free registery scan. So I downloading the software which told me the scan had fixed 15 errors, but to fix 280 more I should pay fore the full version. I wisely didn't proceed any further, but my AVG anti-virus program alerted me to malware which it seems to have successfully healed.
How am I to know though that they fixed anything in the first place, or whether any files I may find later have been modified, or deleted? Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! TJC.
