Fraud using craigslist. Somebody claiming to be Lindsey Livingston put an add in the local craigslist for an HDTV for $350, a ridiculously low amount. It was a ludicrous deal (shipping alone is over $250). She claims that she has recently moved to Vancouver, Canada from which she would ship the HDTV at her expense should I buy it. She claims to have found a company called ParcelForce that would receive the purchase price, ship internationally, and then only release the money to her upon my approval. I agreed and she arranged the shipping, proving me with false addresses, a false Parcel Force office in Vancouver, BC, and a false phone number. I then received an email supposedly from ParcelForce from an agent called Zachary Hilbert in the UK that instructed me to use Western Union to send the money to him for the benefit of Parcel Force. Of course, no company uses Western Union when commercial means are available. Further investigation proved the info provided to be fictitious. The transaction was never completed.
