Was sent an email about an open sales position with Harvard Risk Management from Jill Barnes, there recruiter. The came across my resume from a job career site and were interested in talking to me. The presented the product of identity theft as there own and said they new more about me than I did about them. Said there was a charge for back ground check. Also in order to sell there product you must purchase it. Failed to tell me that it's not their product, It's all Prepaid Legals product. They build by conning you into becoming an associate to sell Prepaid legal products for them. Similar to Amway, build under you to sell for them and get you to buy the product, this gives them a commission on the sale. Not a real job only for con's. The trick you into purchasing an associates position with Prepaid legal to sell there products for Harvard Risk Management. Cancelled Prepaid Legal within 2 days but won't see any money returned.

  • I just joined Harvard 3 weeks ago and have been very pleased with their company. I listened to the same call as the complainer and it was very clear to me that Harvard brokers the TWO products. The call host never mentioned that the identity theft product was theirs. I used Prepaid legal when I was employed with a manufacturing company and loved the product. They helped my wife and I through an IRS audit which we could not do alone.
Many companies charge for background checks just like the apartment complex I moved in to before my rental app was approved so what is the big deal?
There are no tricks and no cons here. I enjoy the products and have already gotten some sales from people who can use the protection.
The only people who would complain about this are those who realized they would actually have to work at this to make a living, or are so old school they will never be satisfied with anything in their lives.
