We bought a 4 piece living room set that was advertised as 100% Molina Leather. It turns out it was bonded leather and is now falling apart. According to the FTC, selling anything as part leather has to be clearly labeled, and it was not. It was false advertising, and thousands were scammed by Rooms to Go.

I contacted the BBB and was in discussions with RTG, but they claim ignorance as to the quality of the product. Again, according to the FTC, all parties involved are culpable for knowing. We would really like to file a class action against RTG to help everyone who was scammed get their money back.

We still have the original sales flyer in our possession. Recent RTG flyers now say bonded leather and do not claim to be 100% leather.

Update: 12/17/2011

I have the original sales flyer if you need me to take a picture of it or scan it for you. I will do it at your request.
