This company claims my daughter ordered a language cd online. Charged her atm $6.95 shipping and handling which comes with a $79.95 monthly recurring fee for the cd's. None of this was ordered. I call in to have charges removed. Represtentative continues to try to get me to keep the service. I explained I just want the adjustment and cancellation of service. He mentioned that he'd provide a reference number that I must attach to the cd in order not to get charged the $79.95 re-curring fee. He indicates the reference number will be sent via email. Of course nothing comes. Oh, he continues to urge me to get worried about my card being compromised (with a tone of certainty).
I call back to attain the reference number. The new representative again inquires why I don't want the service; trying to sell it to me AGAIN. I urged the reference number and she complied.
After all this I'm skeptical of the credit and of course call my bank to issue a new ATM number.
I then get alerted by the bank that I have a charge of $19.98 charged today!!!! OMG, it's from the same company which bills on be half of associated services such as SMART SHOPPER. Now I understand the certainty in the voice of the first representative. This company will use all associated companies to charge peoples credit cards, misleading people to thinking their cards have been compromised. ASTUTE!!!

I called in after see the $19.98 charges, what a coincidence they were aware of all the fees. The Reference customer service lines are all different so people don't associate them as one.
