At the end of September of this year I found an advertising in the Internet promising an anti-aging cream, Re-lift, for a very low price, 5.99. I was surprised how cheap it was, but then decided that a company is promoting a new product. So I decided to order it. I got slightly suspicious when I did not get any confirmation of purchase by e-mail, but did not get worried very much because, as I thought, the worst that could happen was that I would loose 5.99 dollars. In a weak or so the cream was sent to me. The second thing that also surprised me was that there was no letter in the parcel, only a can with cream.

In the beginning of November I received a statement of my credit company and was shocked to see that I was charged 141.50 dollars. I found the phone number of Bodyelegante.Com,
001 877 243 6604, and phoned them asking for explanations. I was told that, when I bought the product, I was supposed to get automatically a can with cream every month for the price 145 dollars. In that case the first can would cost me 7.99 dollars only (strangely, not 5.99 as was advertised, but it is not so important). Since I canceled the other purchases, they would charge me the full price for the first purchase. All these conditions were not explained in the advertising (or, may be, they were but hidden so deeply that customers could see the explanation). Also the company had to enclose a letter when sending me the product clearly explaining the terms and conditions. They did not do this.
