  • Well I too was a victim of this jerk. There were signs from the beginning that it might not be legit but my burning desire for a pair of Josef Seibel Lydia boots for a crazy price won me over. I would NOT have done it though if I didn't have the protection of PayPal...praise thee PayPal.

I ordered two pairs of $140+ boots for about $40 a piece and sure enough it turned out to be a scam. I never received a tracking number after two weeks, checked the website, it no longer existed, etc. Same as everyone else. I filed a dispute through PayPal and they opened a case. Baomin Rao (this jerk has multiple scam websites, beware, he has no moral compass) then supplied a tracking number, to give himself some more time and stretch this bull$#*% out a little longer.

I figured it was probably playing cards like everyone else. Took forever to get here (and I recently ordered a massive dog bed from Hong Kong, that arrived in 5 days flat) so this was very unusual. Got it and sure enough it was a small envelope with three playing cards inside.

Let PayPal know and they ruled in my favor but said I needed to ship the item back. I figured since I selected that I received an item entirely different from the one I ordered this might be an automatic response since I did write that I only received three playing cards. So I gave PayPal a call and spoke to a live person and told him what I received and that it was really just envelope filler to give the package slightly more weight than the envelope itself. He laughed at the ridiculousness...cuz it is ridiculous...and closed the case right there giving me a full refund and said I did not have to ship the playing cards back to China. So I'll check my bank statements in a few business days and all should be well again.

    Take care and beware people!
