I contacted this service with the belief that I was contacting the Hilton hotel directly, as that is how they presented themselves online. I was trying to book 3 rooms, they of course asked for my credit card info before I became suspicious. The person "Mary Ann" that I spoke with was impatient and inept. She kept putting me on hold. 36 minutes into our conversation, I voiced a great deal of frustration. They only booked one room, telling me that they were unable to book 4 because their website had not been updated??!. Upon trying to cancel the initial reservation, I was told that my card had been processed and it would take up to 10 days for refund.
I requested to speak with a supervisor, and spoke with someone named "David", who told me that I had contacted them, so they had no obligation to refund sooner. David denied misrepresenting themselves as the Hilton, and denied any problem with the process. upon request, David told me that they are located in Guatemala. I was able to book the 4 rooms that I needed with the Hilton hotel directly, minus the $100.94 "Sales tax per room" that reservation-desk.com charged me. Who knows if I will get a refund??? Poor service!!! It should not take 40 minutes to book a hotel room, be charged an unreasonable fee, and to find out they could not even fulfill my request!
