Franklin Hallock defrauded me out of $2225.00
Franklin contacted me and offered his service as a broker of antiques and musical instruments.
I consigned a Gibson guitar with him for which I never got paid. I tried contacting him over several months at which time his parents got involved and explained to me that he had a drug problem and also assured me Franklin would pay me when he got out of rehab. I called several months later and asked if Franklin was well and when was he going to pay me. His mother stated he is trying to get his act together and she will tell him to call me back so we could make an arrangement for me to get paid back.
During this process I also tried to just get the guitar back, his mother went as far as to go through his bedroom and look for the guitar but as I expected the guitar was gone.
Needless to say it is quite obvious Franklin has no intention of ever paying me back.
I will likely be taking him to court but I am very busy working and trying to raise my children.
I thought it was important to report this situation on this websight to warn people about getting involved with this person, he can absolutely not be trusted.
I dont know the procedure for contacting me but I would be more than happy to assist in any other persons action against this individual.
At this point the only way Franklin can make this right is to pay me in full. I have been lied to by him and his family to many times now and will only accept a one time full payment of $2225 to satisfy this debt
1) Payment for Gibson $1500
2) Assorted guitars and amplifiers totaling $350.
3) Silver Spoons totaling $375
