I am not sure if 'Damages' include referral fees owned or not?

In either case, here is my story. I attended on of GM's webinars on their custom app offerings built by a 3rd party headed by a guy named Mo. I found a client and brought it to GM to build in May 2013. The planning, design and demo was contracted to be about 90 days. The full cost of the custom app was projected to be about $13,000 of which I we signed a contract for me to receive a 25% referral fee on any funds collected now and in the future related to this customer regarding add-ons, marketing...etc (residual fees). Customer was contracted to pay a portion of the fee upfront before work could start and more as milestones were met. Customer and app designer ran into issues and delay after delay the project was extended. To date $8500 is confirmed to be collected by GM's accountant (Ian) and the app is completed but not tested fully by customer. Customer didn't seem to be impressed with the app or its ease of use and refused to pay the balance of the outstanding $13K fee. GM agreed to allow this discount to the customer for his troubles. I am trying to have GM pay me 25% of would they collected (~$2125) and they are not replying hoping I just go away. I have written to Damien and Ian several times with no success to resolve this issue. I am hoping we can get this resolved in early 2016 and put this issue to bed once and for all.
