I was introduced to this company when I purchased the nutri-bullet rx from the States. When I ordered the machine the employee also asked if I would be interested in signing up for $100.00 free gas coupons. I foolishly agreed as you had 30 days free to try out the company. The company's name is Savercity.ca They said they would mail out a starter kit. I received a vague letter and they made sure that I didn't get anything until the 30 days were up so they could debit my credit card. I only lost one payment as I realized right away they were a scam. I changed my credit card number which is always a hassle. The company in the States shouldn't be promoting this as it is not a legitimate company (savercity) and they (homeland housewares) are legitimate. I have spoken to 3 employees of savercity and they will not send confirmation that your account is closed. They are not co-operative and make a lot of false statements and the only way to shut them down is to change your credit card number. I never received the gas coupons as they make you fill out forms to send via snail mail. This is to ensure they have enough time to debit your card again. They also want you to make purchases with your card to get back 10% of the total bills for the month. If it sounds too good to be true.......it is!! You have to make all of the purchases on the same credit card. One lady I read about had all of her bills denied! Of course they will they are a scam!! They just want you to be fool enough to give them access to your credit card. That's it that's all!! My credit card company is aware and I contacted the dispute department and they are handling it. My recommendation is don't buy into this company. Buyer beware!!
