I purchased a wedding dress from Brown Bridal, it was to be a replica of a particular Monique Lhuillier designer dress.
What I received was something completely different, the dress itself looked absolutely nothing like the picture. It was poorly made & nothing likes it's description. I was absolutely devastated, so I contacted the company & asked for a refund. They have told me that the problems I had with the dress were something very small & could be fixed by a dress maker. I showed photos to a dress maker & she said the dress would have to be completely remade. The company refused to give me a refund then I sent them a copy of their own refund policy which then they gave me the wrong RMA number to return the dress. After I complained again they gave me another number. They have been rude & ignorant to my requests, I still haven't received any further information & I don't know if I post it back (postage will cost a lot) if I will actually get a refund as they keep refusing. They were also being smart & making comments such as "I would like to see you get an actual Monique Lhuillier dress with $300."
It is my wedding dress & I am supposed to be excited & I am in reality just scared, stressed & broke now.
I wish I had known they were a scam company & I hope no body else ever makes this mistake again, it needs to be shut down.
