On September 17, 2015 I made reservations at the Hampton Inn in Derby KS. I felt I was misled to believe I was making my reservation through a Hampton Inn call center. The number I called was located on a website picture of the hotel. When I went back to look at that page, I discovered that the address bar did not say Hampton Inn. When I made our reservation for 1 queen non-smoking room, I was quoted a rate of $99 a night. I requested an AARP discount and was refused. As we had to have a place to stay, I placed the reservation for 2 nights. Later on, I contacted the AARP, they looked into my reservation, he said that my rate was $83 a night and to double check with the hotel at check-in. At check-in I verified our room rate to be $83. I was charged $99 a night and they had already charged my card before we even arrived at the hotel. Also, I became ill while we were there and needed to leave after one night. The "reservation desk" identified themselves as price-line and the manager of the hotel kept ping-ponging me back and forth between them, but neither of them would refund me my money for the second night.
