I called thinking it was Microsoft word support because I couldn't open Word on my computer. They had me open Quicken and other programs and then after 1 hour looking at "cookies" and infections on my computer tried to hit me for an immediate $99.95 for repair, or 299.99 for two year guarantee. I don't know if they have infiltrated my computer in other ways (banking etc) but i fear my identity has been stolen. Whatever you do don't call them! They are the first number that come up and pose as Microsoft experts but they are hackers! I'm very worried and need advice on next steps to try to protect myself.
