Sunrise has rules are physically impossible to follow to redeem a cruise certificate due to lack of information and response by the company.
My wife and I attended a presentation on January 24, 2014 and earned "A Cruise For Two". We activated the award (Certificate number 1028) and sent in money order #XXXXXXXXXXX via certified mail in the amount of $200.00 on February 7, 2014.

Their rules state that "You must submit your Traveler's Request Form no sooner than 120 days and no later than 90 days prior to Sailing Date #1, You must allow 30 days in between all sailing date choices. We were interested in sailing dates in November, December or January. Their documentation says to "Please review website *********************** for all blackout dates. In March we went to the website to review the blackout dates to submit our paperwork no sooner than the 120 days required. Upon logging into the website the only blackout dates listed were for 2013, nothing for 2014 or 2015. We placed a phone call and left a voice message asking about the blackout dates on March 17th at 7:30 pm. We never received a call back. We then called and left a similar message on July 18th at 4:43 pm and August 7th at 8:48 am. Again we did not receive a return call. We then called on September 25 at 6:48 pm and September 26 at 1:54 pm and left messages begging for a return phone call.

I only received a return phone call from **** on October 1st at 11:16 am and was told that it was too late make the reservations as there wasn't enough time to pick three dates with 30 days in between sailing dates. It is very apparent that their rules are physically impossible to follow. Their website has outdated blackout dates and your representatives would only return messages to give the need information after the offer has expired. This is fraud and illegal under state and federal law.

I have phone records, copy of the money order, proof of delivery and current print outs of your website.

I am formally requesting full refund via a certified check or money order via registered mail for $200.00. I have no desire to do any business with this company.

Desired Settlement
A full refund of $200.00. I do not wish another booking form or a call from a manager or any further ridiculous hoops to jump through, just a refund of my hard earned money.
