I applied for a loan online for $5000. I received a call from a man named Victor Song, who claimed to be a senior loan officer with US Bank. He informed me that I could be approved for a loan of $10000. In order to be approved for this loan amount, he offered to pay off my credit cards in full thus raising my credit score. Once they paid off my credit cards, I would need to take out cash advances to pay back a portion of the amount that had been paid on my credit cards. I followed his instructions to receive the loan. Once they received the money from my cash advances they rescinded the payments on my credit cards and left me owing double the credit limit on my cards.
