I submitted my resume for this textbook delivery job on Craigslist. Then they said they would be delivery textbooks to my door. I was only receiving texts messages and was given the name Kate and was told to let her know when I got them. I text her back and told her I received them and ask her what am I suppose to do next and how was I getting paid. She informed me that more books were coming and she would give me instructions when more books arrived. I knew something was not right and told her not to send me anymore books and she kept sending me threatening texts that I was going to be prosecuted and the FBI or police were going to come after me because I didn't fulfilled my contract which I never signed one and that I got there property. I told them to give me an address to send the books back and they emailed me a shipping label. I started to question the receipts and called the company that was on the receipts thanking the books came from them because their phone number and address was on there. They had me as the orderer which I didn't order the books. I gave them the order number on the receipt and they said that number was to long but it said order number, so right there I knew something was up these were fake receipts. I called the number and it was a google number and no one answered it. There's also a another number that also threatened me if they didn't hear back from me. I did receive a fedex shipping label to reship the books but the company it was going to was a textbook recycling company that bought back books which seemed legit but I did a google search on the address that was in the senders part of the label and it turn out to be a trailer that was for sale. I know this is a scam but I don't know what to do with these books and they keep sending me threatening text messages. There's actually two different phone numbers contacted me through text.
