Today I bought photo recovery software from UpClick, costing $68.88. However, after downloading everything, it was impossible to open it - it would not accept the activation codes. I phoned them and allowed them to remote control my computer, whereupon they informed me that I had hundreds of errors and needed to buy their software costing $300.
I refused and, after hanging up, phoned my bank and asked them to stop the money going out of my account, which they did.
