My iPad posted a msg saying my Safari had suspicious dealings and to call this number. It also mentioned Apple was involved.
this sent me to someone who identified himself as Alex Parker from matrixdeaz.com. Had me call a Cisco certified tech to fix this. Lots of noise in the background and I was suspicious and stated this. But, dumb me, I let him log on and gave him access to my computer. I let him sign me up of 169.99 one year protection. After thinking about this, I contacted my USAA MC and had them stop the payment and I unplugged my computer. Someone called back and told me they could no longer access my computer and that is when I told them they were a scam. Nuf sed!
