I never pay attention to the people outside of their department stores in the malls trying to sell their products, but I was somehow coaxed into "Gold Elements" in Coronado Mall by a salesman trying to sell me skin products in which I don't use at all. At first he applied eye cream under my eye. I had to get out of the store due to being in a hurry, and thought if I bought some cream, it would get the salesman off my back. I ended up paying $375.75 cash for the cream, which I thought was way too much. After I got through paying for the cream, the salesman said that I had a free facial and that he would give my change of $25.25 to me later. I tried everything to get out of the facial, although nothing worked. The salesman took me to the facial room and told me to get onto this bed next to the wall. He started telling me about free products in which I could care less about. Then he started poking my upper thigh which made me uncomfortable, trying to make a point about the products. He then applied a light green mask to the good side of my face and neck (only to the wrinkles). I told him he was applying the product to the good side of my face, he just grunted and kept applying. He said that this product was to be kept on for 10-12 minutes once a month and this jar along with 2 other products would last for 5 years. He then stated these products would cost $2500. He asked for my credit card. I said I did not want to put this on my credit card and if I ever did want any of these products I would contact him. I kept on stating I did not want this on my credit card. He wiped some of the mask off of my face, but left some of the mask on. He stated he had to have my credit card in order to put me into the system. He then started reaching for my bag in which I placed in between the bed and the wall. I sat up and grabbed my wallet out of my bag before he could get it, but as I grabbed for it, it fell at the salesman's feet. He held my wallet for a few seconds and asked me for my card. I felt trapped and handed him the card. He took off to the front of the store to buy the products for me with my credit card, then came back to have me sign for the purchase. I then had to ask for my credit card. He had to get change for my $25.25 (my cash purchase). He had the change sitting on the counter, but did not want to give it to me. I had to ask for my change and he looked at me like I should not have asked for it. My son and I did try to get a refund that same day, but we were refused a refund as they do not refund, but only do exchanges as I found out when we went back to try to get a refund. We went back the next day to try to get a refund, still refused us a refund. The manager was shocked at our complaint concerning the salesman and stated that he was their best salesman they have throughout the states.
