My mother-in-law who is 87 years old and on a fixed income was contact by this company,stating she had won 2.5 million. Now mom had been scammed on two other occasions, so she contacted my husband right away. Of course her hope was that is was legit. After my husband had numerous conversations with Bob Green and Carl Link as they attempted to persuade us to send a check in the amount of $995 to cover 5% of the tax on the 2.5 million, since she was a senior citizen. Ok, that doesn't even compute! The check was to be made out to Carl Link! During the conversations they dropped the names of Bill Gates, Donald Trump and even President Obama and the White House. The address they wanted the check mailed to was 1116 s. 3rd, Wilmington, NC. The phone #'s that we used to call them were 876-843-3442 & 876-854-5116. My husband finally had to cut them off because they were not accepting of his "NO" answer. They even called my mother-in law back and told her that her son was rude!! What I find rude is these people trying to take advantage of people who have worked their entire lives and have little to show for it. They seem to think it's ok to do this instead of trying to get a legit job like those they are trying to steal from. What a sad, sad world we live in.
