I am a victim of a fraud, which succeeded only due to your gross negligence and gross breach of Airbnb’s duty of care.
I was looking for an apartment to rent in Ibiza and followed your standard procedure to book the Ibiza Talamanca Villa through a person identified by Airbnb as John Scott, an Airbnb verified user and registered host on Airbnb’s platform. I entirely trusted in Airbnb’s platform, the authenticity of hosts and the offered apartments and Airbnb’s diligence of accepting hosts, their profiles and checking on the genuineness of their offers.It turned out that Airbnb’s platform failed in all of these aspects. Airbnb’s security measures failed by your gross breach of duty of care and gross negligence:

informed me not until on 24 February 2015 at 20:55 pm, 30 hours after breach of Airbnb’s security protocol, not to response to John's email. At this point in time the wire has already been processed to a Barclays account in the name of Airbnb.
The Ibiza Talamanca Villa simply does not exist at the location indicated on Airbnb’s platform. This guy John is continuing offering the Villa and other apartments in Airbnb’s platform.

Instead of helping us out Airbnb did not even reply to our emails, but instead sent automatic generated emails.

I am deeply concerned about this platform and strongly recommend not to use it! Airbnb is a fraud!
