Myself a family member and friend paid over 60K for this banding procedure. All three have failed resulting in complete weight gain for two and a portion of weight gain for one, during a procedure the tubbing was punctured creating a leak this took me over 6 months to convince staff at Slimband and other 6 months to have it fixed. At this point I spent over 20K for something that failed and was treated like crap from almost all the staff at the centre. Once I requested doctor involvement I was treated better but still I had lost over a hundred pounds and gained back over a hundred. Everyone wants to pass the blame on what happened however I don't care I just want to get back to where I was. This has costed me much much more then the cost of the procedure I have also had to pay for my own travel and accommodation for the three procedures. Due to my medial issues I also had to stay 3 weeks for my first procedure and a min of a week for the other two. This was an additional cost for me of over 8K, they did agree to help me out with 500$ (What the hell is that?? This doesn't cover one way from the north). The staff treat you so terrible when you call for support. They are so wonderful right up until they take all your money.. I know the other two people (one that referred me and one that was referred by me) have had nothing but issues with this company. same experience... great until they take your money but once they have it your left feeling like your unimportant. We all were banded 6 months from each other. I was NEVER told that my "warranty" would expire. Now they have told my family member she needs to pay an extra 1000 if she wants there support. After her band failed and she had to have it de-filled until her stomach returned to normal. I seen the cost of the procedure not even 3k... the reaming of the money is for Slimband... 13K and you don't have anyone helping your out.. This is going higher for us.. were not settling for this crap.. People be ware.. They will take your money and chuck you out like crap...
