SCAM!!!!

Thank god for this site!!!
My husband has been speaking to someone called "alison" about a 1967 Ford Mustang found on carsforsale.

It all looked very ligit, email from Amazon FPS, I even rang Amazon myself who confirmed Amazon payments is a ligit site. They are clearly very good scam artist and can clone an invoice to look identical!

I first thought it was strange that the person had moved to Poland for the army, and the bank details we got from Amazon invoice was to be sent to a Polish bank account.

This raised alarms bells, my husband sent an email to query this but of course the scammer was replying and said as the seller is based in Poland at the moment they are using a Polish bank as the agent.

We were at the point of getting reading to sort funds out £3k, when I thought the email address should read @amazonpayments at least, but was buyer-services.com

I typed in the email address and I found this website and can see how everyone else has had the same thing happened to them!

Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to post their comments on here and has stopped us from being scammed for £3k!

If you were scammed I hope you are able to somehow get funds back, but at least take comfort that you have helped a family with a newborn baby where £3k is a lot of money to us at the moment avoid the devastation.
