On January 28th at around 9:30 pm I called what I thought was a Motel 6 reservation line. I was looking for lodging that night in Hillsboro, OR. There was nothing available in Hillsboro or any otherMotel 6's in nearby areas and that he could check other properties. So I informed him that I had a 92lb German Shepherd and I didn't want to pay an extra pet fee. He the end he booked me into a hotel in Portland saying they accepted pets and there was no additional fee. It was not until after the transaction was completed tjat he informed of the (non) cancellation policy which states there are no refunds. Then he tells me the hotel is out by the airport. Well, rhe Portland airport os at least 15 miles in the opposite direction of Hillsboro. When I arrived at rhe hotel at 1am not am I informed there is a $15 pet fee but they don't accept animals over 30lbs.

So, I call Reservation Desk and after a lengthy conversation with the afent with no results I ask to speak to someone who has the authority to authorize my refund. The supervisor gets on the phone and I again explain the situation to which he assures me I will get a refund and he will see about additional compensation. I ask for an email detailing our conversation. The email I receive says they will 'tey' and get me a full refund. The email I recieved the next day saysthey cannot issue me a refund because they were never unformed of the size of my dog.

I responded to the email and again called to talk to a supervisor . Funny thing though, he can't find my reservation under the itinerary number or my name while at the same time saying it is impossible to delete reservations. He eventually found it in another system using my card number. Then puts me on hold for a couple minutes and rells me it's already been investigated and I am not getting a refund because they were never informed of the size of my dog. At some point in the conversation he confirmed tje the phone calls are recorded. Anyway, I ask to speak to his boss and hw says there is noone above him and the people who investigate the incidents work offline and can not be contacted.

So, I also would like to see this company shut down and the owner pay retributions to all of us who have been scammed. I'm kust wondering how wr can make that happen.
