LIVEFACEONWEB.com NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Back in late June of 2011, Lifefaceonweb.com took $519.00 from my checking account without warning or questions. They claimed it was for a Terms of Service penalty and that I was using the video I purchased from their company on multiple websites.

I immediately contacted the company and explained that I was launching a new website that created subdomain sites for my users. The system was inadvertently replicating the page with the said video on it and it appeared that I was using it for monetary gain on other sites. That was not the case and no one would ever reach this URL. My website programmers IMMEDIATELY corrected the mistake.

I called livefaceonweb.com and explained the situation to their CEO, Eduard Shcherbakov. After hearing the situation he understood fully and agreed it was a mistake and that he would refund the money right away. For the next TWO months he claimed he tried to refund the money to my account but was unsuccessful. I then filed a charge back with my bank (with the encouragement of one of their employees Robert), since they were having trouble refunding the money, I thought this would be an easier way for them to get the money back to me. Of course they sent the charge back papers to my bank and said the charges were legitimate.

I called Eduard Shcherbakov and said what is going on? He said he didn't know why someone from his company sent back the papers. He apologized and said he would get my money to me right away. ONE month later...NO MONEY. He again said he was having trouble refunding it. He gave me a tracking number, which I called his credit card processing company to verify. It was a bogus tracking number and had nothing to do with my refund. They also confirmed that he had NEVER issued a refund dating back to 4 months ago in June when he said he did the first time.

I have since sent over 20 emails and probably a 100 phone calls to his office. He will no longer speak to me. I have vowed to call him every day or at least as often as I can to bother him and remind him of what a jerk he has been to me. Here is another important point to remember...I was a REPEAT customer of his! Of course I will never come back.

Eduard Shcherbakov has lied to me throughout this entire process and is a person who should not be trusted. I have several e-mails where they have repeated over and over again how sorry they are and that the money will be returned to my account in a few days. I am currently unemployed and do not have the money to sue them. If I had the money, I would hire an attorney and go after them for much more than the $519.00. This has cost me so much more! To me it is a "no-brainer" lawsuit. Problem is with so little money involved it doesn't bring much attention. I assure you, this amount of money is HUGE to me and my family and has made live very, very difficult for all of us.

I encourage everyone to proceed with caution when considering doing business with livefaceonweb.com. Based on my experience, there are better, cheaper and more honest online video promotional companies out there that you should pursue.
