In Dec 2013, I noticed a bunch of charges from GLD MYSCORE for 29.95 on my account. I called the number also listed with the charge. It took some time to find my account because it was not listed under my name, nor my address. According to them, my CC# had been stolen and used to setup an account on their site. I have difficulty believing that theory due to the fact that not a single other fraudulent charge had been made on that card in the same time period. It seems unlikely that a person would steal my identity for the sole purpose of looking up their credit.
After 45m on the phone, I was eventually setup with a refund of all of the charges. This was, of course, only after threatening legal action multiple times as they tried to explain why I should pay them for their fraud-protection services (irony!).
Fast forward a few weeks. I am now seeing a charge show up for a different credit card from the same company. I am currently on the phone with them. Once again, the information on the account is completely wrong. It's not my name and not my address, which begs the question of how they are able to charge my card in the first place.
