I sent for a sample of Luminique paying $1.99 and this is obviously how they got my credit card number. On doing a casual check of my account I found I had been charged $84.10 by Luminique. I gave no authorization for this to be taken out of my bank account. I eventually got a phone number for Luminique and rang them. A woman answered, talked all over the top of me and told me I had agreed to the terms and conditions and no matter what I said she just kept repeating that. Then the next thing she said I had $69.95 more to pay, I cannot repeat what I said but she insisted she will take me to court. These companies should be banned for the scammers that they are and even the employees should be held to account. Needless to say, I have cancelled that bankcard and reported the scam to the bank who are willing to investigate the whole thing.I guess that will be the last I see of my $84.10. I hope this complaint will go a bit to getting rid of the Luminique scammers or at least to warn others to STAY AWAY FROM LUMINIQUE.
