I needed a download for attachments. They offered me this; then said i had a slow computer. I said i did not. then they showed me endless "errors' in my computor. and downloaded programs i did not ask for and tried to refuse. They spent and hour and a half fixing my computor. then chared me 399 dollars and an additional 75 for ? . I figured this was a scam and cancelled my credit card. Then an additional 185 dollars was taken from my weels fargo secure accounts by paypal, not a chartge , a withdrawal. I went to wells fargo and filed a fraud report on friday the 28th. I can't figure how they got the $185 since I cancelled the only card i use on paypal. Damage so far is 658 dollars and they still have access to all my financial info. on line. since they went through my computer for an hour and a half and the only problems I've ever had on line started thereafter . Wells Fargo thinks the $185 was a sale of my credit info.It's a perfume store that actually put a monthly charge on my account and has no phone number or location. I could not have done this. I am a single male living alone. No one else uses my cards or accounts. I'm inclined to leave online banking altogether. I will go to Wells Fargo again tomorrow to close all on line banking.
