Today she's a Marine from North Carolina buying a car for sale in Colorado for her wonderful father. She requested additional pictures since she wouldn't actually be seeing the car. I sent them. She requested my Paypal info for payment. I sent it. I received the fake email just like everyone else stating that the money had been transferred from her account into mine, including an additional $900 for the pick up fee, $100 for the money gram fee, and $385 for the Paypal fee. The email states there is a hold on the money before it goes into my account because I need to send $900 for the pick up fee to Davvi Pau in North Carolina. So he's coming from North Carolina to Colorado to pick up my car??? Yeah, right. Your first clue should be that her last name isn't spelled the same in her email address. Her grammar is horrible. She doesn't make a counter offer. She wants to buy your item sight unseen. I had suspicions at the beginning but everyone assured me you can't be scammed through Paypal. They're right as long as you don't fall for the fake Paypal emails and follow through with what they want you to do. I am lucky...I did not fall for her scam.
