They call my mom and convinced her she had computer problems. She downloaded their "product" and they "fixed" things. She told us about it a day later and my husband cleaned off the program. She had not logged on in the mean time, and stores almost nothing of value on the computer, so hopefully the damage is minimal. I called the company to request a cancellation (they had not yet charged the credit card given.) They were extremely argumentative. I finally threatened to dispute it with the credit card company, and they appeared to relent. We will closely monitor her financials.
