I believe that I am being scammed. I joined the NAF, as a life member, back in August 2011. I have experienced confusion when it comes to paying online with them. It seems that they are attempting to double charge by not keeping the records online updated. I recieved the latest invoice today and on it it states the following:
Base Life Member Dues Rebate Credit Total Life Fee
$315.00 $36.00 $279.00
Payments to Date Remaining Balance Amount Now Due
$46.50 $232.50 $232.50 or
$23.25 Monthly
Installment
I pay the monthly installment.
I think there is something wrong here. I have paid 91.00 already.
If the membership fee is $279.00 then it would be
279.00
-91.00
-36.00
For $152.00
So I should only owe a Total of 152.00 NOT 279.00
I think that it is actually less when i figure what i have paid so far.
I have caught several descrepencies in the past as well.
It is as if they are hoping you are not paying attention to you billings.
Can someone help me cancel this membership and get a full refund?
