In August I made the stupid mistake to try a trial of Pathos $4.95. It came in the mail with no paperwork or further details. I assumed that was that. Then I got a charge of $89.10 on my cc#. About the same time I got a second shipment and 2nd charge of $89.10. I called to inquire about the charges, 2nd shipment, to cancel any further shipments, and request a refund. After a long discussion I was told I would get the credit and my account was now closed. I got one credit but not the 2nd. After additional calls and rude customer service people, they said they would not have refunded the charge on the 1st "trail" because it was after the 14 day trial period. When I argued I never got that information they said the communication is only by email. That is not a very sure way to communicate and feels very scam-ish. I am sure they count on people missing that small print! I tried to speak to a supervisor but they would not pass me on to one. I have finally learned these things are never on the up & up.
