Oct. 5th 2014: after inquiring on a site, Made-In-China.com, about the cost of a Dell Laptop, I received an e-mail from Jason Sun, of Wuhan Host Trader Co, aka: Hostrader... not only listing possible laptops, but other name brand items at lower wholesale costs... with-in a day or so, I received 3 other like offers...
Oct. 14th 2014: I reached out to Jason Sun with a list of items that I felt I could use or re-sell.
Oct. 14th 2014: Jason Sun got back to me with a quote of $1190usd and provided two documents, wholesale business and China registered in 2005
Oct. 14th 2014: I provided Jason Sun with a ship to address and he provided an office quote form with all the Western Union info that would be needed to send the money.
Western Union:
First Name: Wenhao
Surname: Zheng
City: Wuhan
Country: China
Postal: 430022
Bank ADD: Jiangxing Road 155#, Jianghan District, Wuhan 430022, China.
Phone#: 008613124081563
Email: [email protected]
Oct. 14th 2014: money sent through Western Union - Tracking # xxx-920-xxxx
I sent Jason Sun a copy of the receipt from my phone.
With that, he said items would be shipped the next day.
Oct. 15th 2014: I sent an e-mail in the morning, as I expected to see DHL tracking info and didn't... Jason got back to me right away saying he would check his shipping department.
Oct. 15th 2014: hour later or so, Jason got back to me, saying he was sorry, but did not realize, there is a $2000 min. order for free shipping and I only spent $1190... He was very sorry, said he was new around there, and If I bought more to make the $2000usd, they would offer more free gifts for his error and my trouble... So I placed an amendment to my order. Jason gave me an updated proforma invoice slip with added items and free items/gifts. new charges will be $1,365, bring my order total to: $2,555.00.
Oct. 15th, 2014, I again sent the money Western Union to the same info provide before. Western Union tracking #xxx-745-xxxx
Oct. 16th, 2014. In the morning, I e-mailed Jason again about the tracking #... he got right back to me with a tracking # for DHL of xxx 1091 xxx
I tested the number, got back NO info from DHL...To this point, I was nervous, but not scared that I just got SCAMMED... Not being an expert on shipping packages, I fell for Jason's reason that it is not showing up yet, as it has not passed Customs yet... to check back the next day... but I did ask for a copy of the packing slip for DHL. Jason said it is night here now, will get for you in the morning.
Oct. 16th, 2014: being I was a little nervous, I thought I would test Jason a little, to see how he would react... I gave him a list of things that were not part of the web page and asked if they had any contacts for these items... he said he would have to check into that, but for right now, lets work on this current order to make sure all goes well... I actually felt better that he did not jump all over that...
Oct. 17th 2014: I once again sent an e-mail asking him for info on the shipping, as I am still not seeing anything in the DHL tracking info... Jason said wait, he would check it... he then sent me a DHL tracking forum, with the same tracking # that was provided before and said he was looking into the shipment.
Oct. 17th 2014: Now Jason comes back saying, my package was detained in customs... that they tried to ship items as Gift $50.00 value, and customs opened and said the value is more than $50, and that I needed to now pay the customs duty tax of 30%... $766.5 USD
Oct. 17th, 2014: I am back at Western Union paying the Duty Tax on my items... Western Union Tracking #xxx-932-xxxx. I then contacted Jason and let him know money had been sent and I e-mailed him the receipt from my phone again.
Oct. 17th 2014: Jason let me know they would be going in on Saturday to pay for the duty tax and the package should be released their after...
Oct 18th, 2014: sent notice to Jason stating I still do not see info for the tracking # provided... NO ANSWERS
Oct 19th, 2014: Still NO ANSWERS and nothing in DHL Tracking
Oct 20th, 2014: Sent another email to Jason, this time telling him, I know now I have just been SCAMMED and I will never see my money again.... $3321.50 plus Western Union charges... GONE!! I so MESSED UP!!!
