I was an HVAC expert for JustAnswer.com from 2008 to 2013.The premise is a wonderful idea,it's too bad it was implemented with a deceptive business model of "accidentally" selling EVERYONE an ongoing subscription with which they will continue to bill your credit card forever,or until you have discovered it,months even years later. They continue to blame the customer's still years later despite this being an ongoing issue and their #1 complaint! Nothing has ever been altered or tried in order to eliminate this or even reduce this from happening,this is by design
and a tremendous source of pure profit that they have to share with nobody and for doing nothing!and it is month after month of windfall income. Why should they stop doing this to everyone when they can maintain an A rating with the BBB by refunding those who have braved the gauntlet of inoperative links,functions on their website and spent hours calling phone numbers to persons who rarely call you back.
Their profits would plummet if they operated with integrity and immediately stopped this theft from "accidentally" happening to everybody who ever gives their card # to JustAnswer.com or Pearl.com, Answerbag.com Justask.com and the seemingly endless variations upon this theme they use to distance themselves from the JustAnswer website as it has gained a well earned disreputable legacy as a result of their treatment of the customers.
It is barely legal and the sweetest con racket I have ever witnessed or even heard of as they are untouchable,they admittedly furnish nobody any 1099 or W2 etc,as the "real" experts who are not JustAnswer employees paid researchers who regurgitate archived accepted answers made by,thereby given to JA by the short lived "real" human experts,they abuse and allow to be abused by the very own JustAnswer experts that allegedly are there to mentor a new expert.
What happens in reality is a new expert is encouraged to answer ALL questions,
this includes the questions already answered by existing (embedded,sub par) experts that the customer has not accepted.
A new expert who demonstrates expertise is used to fill their archives with data and after a bit they havthe new expoert for their archived usage in the future and this includes your picture and handle as if you are still actually employed by JustAnswer.com and are in fact online now!! They have continually used my wiring diagrams,not one enbedded old time expert has any diagrams if you search they also use stock pics of actors or even animals since they are not really who they say they are or look so bad that they post fake pics of their experts! see Phil and Billy from the HVAC forum bth are European stock pics! Phil from Germany and Bilys is a French plumbers ad! and now Bily is a dog! lol!
Billy is the HVAC mentor if you can imagine being competent and inadvertantly answering his unaccepted questions with ease which in his view is "stealing" despite it being acceptable and encouraged by JustAnswer as assumably the customers needs are #1 not the experts need to hog every question including those he was unable to answer satisfactorily, thus not accepted, the sub par expert openly threatens the new expert and colludes with others to negatively peer review everything they do not like which is usually every time you help a customer that hthey are unable to! This grinds on you after a bit even if you feel that you are doing nothing wrong, I began to dread signing on as I knew I faced the Billy attacking me and his manipulations exteneded to statistic padding his account rating and sabotaging new/ competent experts better % rating! Say you have a 100% rating yet only 10 answers,just 1 bad rating plummets you down to a 90% and another bad rating makes you likely to be automatically kicked off for quality scores!! All he does(Billy) is make 2 or 3 fake accounts that use the subscription mode in his case of padding himself by asking himself ridiculously simple questions every day alleging to be a home inspector, who needs to ask dow old a furnace is and pay to do so and is unable tolearn the dates from the serial numbers which is obvious to anyone after the first time shown! I checked out this home inspector that inspected more homes than were even sold in his area and the wensites were plentiful but all fake if you ever tired reaching him, Greg Kelsey home inspector was 1 stat psdding account he used to mauintain a high 90% + rating which is impossible with the website telling customers if you rate badly you don't have to pay the expert! they fail to mention that they were already paid and in full before you ever spoke to me,which is another thing,they wont allow communication other than an ongoing game of tag 1/2 the time with delays of hours even days between sessions! The customers dont know what is correct and believe everything they are told and are easily manipulated by JustAnswer to behave just as they want us to like good rats in a cage for them to abuse use and pilfer from, JusttAnswer even takes 1/2 our tips which is also illegal, but they call them bonuses to get away with it.

This question below is one of the fake accounts Billy used against me, this example the customer was also an expert! made that day evidenced by the customers picture being posted which has never happened before or since and funny enough the alleged new expert/customer has to this day acted in an experts capacity for JustAnswer,com, and notice how Billy ignores the question for hours and only after I intentionally bit the obvious bait thinking I had Billy nabbed it was absolutely opposite, they still refused to acknowledge the clear ans convincing proof I am showing you

The Honeywell or Robert Shaw Grayson retro fit kits are just the thing for older furnaces with need to be refurbished,very easy to install essentially 7 wires,2 pipes and a new ignitor assembly,an excellent option.Lacking a first name, I'll refer to you as V.Anyway, V, The confidence you express in you email leads me to believe I should move forward with the purchase of the retro kit you describe.Does it require and come with a flame sensor/safety if needed. Sorry about my terminology but I'm not a HVAC guy, just real handy with tools and machines.....JACUSTOMER-3xxxxxx2-

Kurt here, you helped me locate the Honeywell retro kit for my ailing furnace a few days ago, got the kit on ebay 129.00 and installed today, as you said, Sweet.....Rebuilt/replced all but blower motor, cleaned up the rest, working like a charm....Thanks for all you help....Happy Holidays
