It's a physical setup, with a legit address. They offer some products/services for sale. At the end of the last product, all paid for by credit card, the folks in Streetdeal make an unauthorised deduction of $88.70 from your credit card because they already know your detail!
Telephone contact to them goes dead. Emails are replied late, after two days using some strong-arm language. The bank is unable to claim the amount and only recommend a new credit card number!
Bye bye $88.70 and all these happens in the safest country in the world, Singapore with more than enough safeguards for consumer protection.
As I learnt, Streetdeal has a clause that states they only do arbitration, if push comes to shove. An arbitration proceeding costs $8000. No private citizen would want to go that far.
