I completed what purported to be an online Tesco Survey and in return claimed my reward, a Trial E-cig starter kit at £4.95. The order confirmation email sent to me by an American company called E-Cigs Brand informed me that I had been enrolled in a monthly refill membership scheme, and that my credit card would be charged monthly for e-cig refills sent to me. If I cancelled my order within what appeared out the blue as a ‘15 day e-cig trial period’, I would be charged the full cost of the starter kit at approx £40. There was no indication of any monthly refill membership scheme enrolment on the order form that I completed. I have sent an email to the company cancelling my order on the basis of deception. No response as yet. This is a scam and should be avoided!!! Alan Scott.
