Received a letter with several company names on the letterhead.( Publishers Clearinghouse, Readers Digest, Wal Mart,etc.) Then started getting phone calls, several a day telling me I had won 2.5 million. I received a check in the mail which made me think that just maybe it was later. I deposited thr check in my bank account. Then they directed me to take 54 hundred of this money out 9f the account and send it to an address in New York in cash, n9r a check, not a money order just cash. So I sent it to Brooklyn just as directed, then the shoe drooped.mthe check was no good leaving them with 5400 dollars cash and me replacing the fake money from the check for real money from my account. And if that wash,t enough they called after all of that and said they were from the FTC.saying that they could make it right for two thousand.how they keep up all these names and number I would get confused but I guess that's a part of it,
