International boundaries

I have a business account with comwave sine may 2014 and within the past 30 days, to my knowledge customers began complaining why 011 prefix appears in front of my area code and phone number. I have spent 3 weeks with Theresa Barselis who calls mornings at 8AM requesting yet another piece if info. Because they deny any activity on this even though it is there new a PBX system. Upon talking to IT internationally at Comwave and having them explain Comwaves call routing on the World Wide Web Theresa Barselis states that VOIP is not international. When I questioned her about the system she can not answer.
I have called and snswered numerous wuestions and dven those i cannot, like theressa asked what appears on customers lines snd which customers, i advised i sm jnsble to see calls outgoing to customers?! i have sent images from my phone and gosh darnet they just can't figure it out, and within 2 weeks havd bot redponded as to why but deflect to personal attacks. To the point that they responded to my BBB complaint with no answer as to why this occurring but rather my being evasive and not a answering their questions or claims made against them. A dozen emails but there response is they offer good customer service-costing me business currently every week it goes up.
May 2006 yuval barzakay president filed a 3.7 mil "lawsuit again st Rogers for number portability but comwave is refusing to release my number.
That is the 2nd issue they state the phone number is inactive then put in writing to me it is not.
Consumer affairs advised me this is a CRTCissue and BBB has not heard of the reluctance of number porting in awhile so it seems comwave is taking advantage of that.

  • Hi Sherry. I am very sorry that you have had this technical issue. We have contacted you many times in hopes for you to provide us with a bit more information for us to resolve the issue for you including providing you with a phone number for you to call so we can see the caller ID issue on another outside network. We need more then the one sample to narrow down the potential causes. We would like nothing more then to fix this for you.

In reference to the call routing internationally. All VoIP calls route through the internet but this does not impact the prefix which is associated to the caller ID of the phone.

We have also not received any port-out requests from other companies for your number as you had mentioned here.

Please email [email protected] with the details of which company is requesting the number be ported and when you may be able to provide us with the test call we requested to the number we provided.

    Regards,
