Although this site looks official, and they seem to be safe as far as using your credit card, it just buys tickets from the actual Alcatraz Cruises and adds a booking fee. When you purchase the normal day tour tickets, you are charged $30 for the cost of the ticket plus $8 per ticket that they pocket. If you buy direct from alcatrazcruises.com, there is no "booking fee". Also, the tickets from alcatrazcruises.com are entirely refundable (as long as you cancel early), whereas alcatrazislandtickets.com refuses to refund their booking fee.
So in my case not only did they charge me $8 for each of the four tickets I purchased, but when I asked about refunding the $8 booking fee for the ticket that was cancelled they refused. I gave them the chance to do the decent thing and only asked for the refund on that one ticket, but that was not something they were willing to do.
