Similar situation than the others mentioned. The approach caught me tired and off guard, so my radar and willpower were low. I was told that his flight had been delayed and he did not have hotel money. Seemed to know a little bit about the company he said he had interviewed for. He appealed to my paternal instinct and it worked.
