This person fristly sent me an text that preffer communication through email and is interested in my item for sale on gumtree.
Then emails continued, preferred paypal payment, then started to make up stories that she is working for some oil company and is at the sea in New Zealand atm. And need to send an courier to pick this, but i need to send him money first. So she would add that amount into price and send it to me.
I said okay. Then sent me from fake paypal email ([email protected]) as an confirmation that money have been received to my paypal account, also another mail stating, that first I need to pay that postage charge to bank account stated in email and then the money can be released to my paypal account.
I had nothing at my paypal account. Emails also looked veird, so I looked up scam websites, and figured out, that this is all fake, before I made any payments!
So watch out people!
