I Managed to book my Air Asia ticket online without the need to purchase insurance for my maid as she has no valuable items on hand on her way back from Cambodia. However, was required by force to pay for the insurance when I tried to check in for her. It is not very expensive to purchase for the insurance but rather unethical to default the payment online upon check in.
I believed many experienced the same situation have no choice to pay for it rather than wasting time to make a complaint. Although small value in monetary term but unethical.
