I bought a box set of the original Batman and Robin from DVD Pearl for my son as a birthday gift. This cost around AUD$90. When the parcel arrived, I found this "box set" was individual discs, with hand-written episode #'s packed into a clear VHS plastic case, in individual sleeves - no packaging. A number of the episodes did not even work. I asked for the non-working episodes to be replaced and Kimberly Weiss from DVD Pearl said this would be done, however weeks later I had not received them so I followed up, only to be told that they could not replace them because their masters were faulty. I was offered a $15 refund, or to return the discs at my own expense. Many months later, my son doesn't have the special box set I spent $90 to buy for him for his birthday. It is a not a good idea to buy from DVD Pearl - a one way path to wasting money and giving yourself a headache.
