Popup appeared on my iMac stating there is a serious security alert by foreign hackers (them). Call Apple rep immediately, level 8 technician needed for repairs 855-245-1262. I couldn't delete the popup, and thought it must be serious. I called. A man speaking broken English soon took over my computer for a diagnostic scan while he was spitting out lots of questionable words describing all the problems with thousands of this, that and the other stating my problem was "getting worse as we speak" and asking "aren't you going to do anything about it?" To my sorrow I gave in and it cost me $299.99. I was threatened and manipulated into his scam fearing what he could do if I made him mad! I made him really mad by not signing the contract, and I saw him writing my name on the dotted line where he was threatening me to sign. APPLE CARE later said they don't have a level 8 technician and had never heard of this co. and made note of it. Beware of TechCareLive.com
