I ordered a dress from this website claiming to be 'Coast Dresses cheap sale'. They emailed me twice saying my credit card payment failed and asked me to try and pay again with Western union payment, which I did not have so I tried again using my HSBC visa card. It wasn't until I received a dress that was nothing like the one I ordered (worth about 5 pounds) that I checked my bank transactions, and turns out that on two separate occasions they had taken different amounts from my account; first HKD945.20 and then again HKD944.47, all their emails to me are written in very basic, awful English and I have not had any replies regarding the dress sent to me. At this moment my parents are refusing to allow me to call HSBC fraud lines because they're worried we could get sued if this was a legitimate mistake, but I'm not convinced. Also, my father works for HSBC so he is worried about what might happen regarding his employment if he makes a false allegation of fraud. Any advice?
I would recommend everyone orders from LEGITIMATE websites such as ASOS when ordering clothing online. Be careful.
