Booked an 8 days 7 nights All inclusive trip to Sicily on Groupon. The coupon which gave us access to 7 nights at Delfino Beach Hotel all inclusive. I bought 2 for 1400€. (one for my girlfriend and 1 for me)
Upon getting to Palermo and transferring to Marsala and the Hotel, we were told at the reception that they wouldn't give us our Room. THey told us HolidaysBooked.com didn't pay their 4 last invoices and that they didn't do business with them anymore. Also customers were left hanging because HolidaysBooked would not provide hotels with means of communicating with them directly to tell them the hotel would not have them over.
So after paying the first night because it was late, we settled on Calling HolidaysBooked.com to sort everything out (we had paid for everything afterall). After Calling 5 times and talking to different agents, they told us they would call us back. Which NEVER happened, we were stuck in Sicily with no hotel. So We decided to pay for the Week Again and stay at Delfino Beach Hotel.
Now I haven't talked to the agency again, but just sent them the invoice for my room. I lost 2 precious days outta 8 to deal with their foul behaviors.
