I signed up for a free trial of Pathos Skin Care. After I received it, for some reason, I started doing some research and discovered that I had signed up for a membership and monthly delivery. Fortunately, or so I thought, I made the discovery within the 14 day trial period. When I called to cancel, everything was automated with no option to speak with a customer service representative. While they did cancel my account, I was informed that my credit card was being charged $44.99 for the sample. No option to return the unused portion (as the other product offered by a second company allowed). I reread the terms and conditions of the original offer and found nothing in there about being charged $44.99 if you cancel within the 14 days. The other company allowed me to return the product with no additional charge. This is a huge scam and rip-off.
