Re age renew skin care item offered via POLYVORE ontest win.
I won a polyvore contest where the prize was a choice between one of three Items. I chose a skin care item simply because the other items were 'not available'. I was redirected to a free trial site. Credit card details were provided purely to cover cost of postage. I do not recall reading anything about further dispatches of product and subsequent charges.
A month after receiving the contest prize item I received another duplicate item.
There was NO invoice with this item and thus no indication of a charge.
There were NO company registration details on the despatch note.
I contacted customer support and found I was to be charged $89 for is item and that an invoice was emailed. It was not! The service agent could NOT tell me the company details or deomstartei had signed up for this service.
They did however confirm the contest offered by polyvore was in fact one of their trading partners.
BEWARE
Update: 08/23/2014
I requested immediate cancellation of this 'service' and a refund. I had to return the item and am presently awaiting refund. Postage of course at my cost.
