i keep receiving emails, supposedly from this company saying that i still owe over $900 on a cash loan from a few years ago. i payed off this loan a few months ago through an attorney's office which sent me a real letter through the mall. i paid what they said they would settle the dept for and was told it was settled. Since then, i keep getting these emails saying i still owe money on this loan and if i don't pay it i will be arrested. i foolishly sent them $135 a few months ago and continue to get these emails. when i contacted the company i was told my name is not in their data base and was instructed to request a letter from the dept collector which i did. they have never sent me anything through the mail, only email with a phone number with an area code beginning with a 3. when i call the number it is an indian guy who doesn't answer in any professional manor but tells you you need to pay more on a loan that i was told was already paid off. i will never request a cash advance again, it's not worth it !
